About the Colorado Youth Corps Associations
The Colorado Youth Corps Association (CYCA) creates opportunities for young people to participate in high-quality youth corps statewide. There are currently 10 accredited youth corps in the state that serve 1,800 young people annually.
- Raises resources for youth corps
- Assures quality through annual youth corps accreditation
- Promotes youth corps through legislative advocacy and strategic communication
- Oversees AmeriCorps and other National Service programs for youth corps
- Offers technological and data management solutions for youth corps
- Fosters high quality educational opportunities for youth corps staff and their participants
- Provides professional networking opportunities for youth staff
CYCA’s mission is to advance the Colorado youth conservation corps movement.
The Colorado Youth Corps Association is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt nonprofit.
