NANCY B. WEIL, Office Manager
NWeil [at] CYCA.org
Since January 2012, Nancy Weil has been keeping the books and assisting CYCA’s staff. With a background in small business office management, she’s been in her element as logistics maven, handy-person and organizer for a spectrum of needs and activities, from office maintenance to public events. Much of her volunteer energy has been focused on the outdoors – creek cleanups, tree planting, working with her sons’ Boy Scout troop – which makes CYCA a natural fit for her talents and interests. A native Coloradan, she returned in 2010 after two dozen years “inside the Beltway” in the DC area – every day she feels grateful to be living here again, where hiking and fishing beckon. Her novel Karmafornia, written under the pen name NC Weil, is available from Fool Court Press, LLC and Amazon, as well as a few small-town bookstores around the state. She also enjoys yoga, sewing, designing and building furniture, and reads widely, posting book and film reviews on her blog, AestheticPoint.blogspot.com. She plays a mean game of Scrabble.

Caleah began her VISTA service in February 2016, interfacing with the Bureau of Land Management. Originally from Maple Grove MN, she went to school at Drake University in Des Moines, IA and graduated with degrees in Psychology and Sociology. With her area of study, college was where Caleah found her passion for creating opportunities for social equity and inclusion. With an opportunity to venture into the environmental stewardship world, she is excited for her journey as an AmeriCorps Vista with CYCA. New to the Denver area, Caleah is eager to see what the city and outdoors has to offer as she likes to stay active through roller blading, running, and playing soccer (attempting to!) in her free time!
