BRANDON WATKINS, Associate Director
BWatkins [at] CYCA.org
Brandon started as the Associate Director with CYCA in August 2017. He first entered the Corps world in 2010 as a Corps Member with AmeriCorps NCCC in Denver. After falling in love with service, and the state of Colorado, Brandon stuck around and enrolled in a second term of service with an AmeriCorps State program housed at Denver Human Services. After his second term, Brandon joined a nonprofit called Playworks as a Program Manager and helped support AmeriCorps members serving in low-income elementary schools around Metro Denver. When Brandon heard about the opening at CYCA from the previous AD, Kate, he knew this was the perfect opportunity to get back into the AmeriCorps world and his true passion of helping young adults serve their communities.
In his spare time, Brandon loves cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals, spending time with his pup Nala, and going camping, hiking, or exploring new cities with his wife, Kelsey.
TRACY OLSON, Contract Manager
TOlson [at] CYCA.org
Tracy Olson has been the contract manager for CYCA since 2011. After graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she spent the majority of her career working in corporate marketing and advertising in the cable and financial services industries. Prior to joining CYCA, Tracy spent five years doing freelance marketing work and staying home with her two young daughters. As a native of Colorado, an outdoor enthusiast, and a mom who is passionate about the need to protect our natural resources for future generations, the transition to the non-profit sector and CYCA was the perfect fit.
NANCY B. WEIL, Office Manager
NWeil [at] CYCA.org
Since January 2012, Nancy Weil has been keeping the books and assisting CYCA’s staff. With a background in small business office management, she’s been in her element as logistics maven, handy-person and organizer for a spectrum of needs and activities, from office maintenance to public events. Much of her volunteer energy has been focused on the outdoors – creek cleanups, tree planting, working with her sons’ Boy Scout troop – which makes CYCA a natural fit for her talents and interests. A native Coloradan, she returned in 2010 after two dozen years “inside the Beltway” in the DC area – every day she feels grateful to be living here again, where hiking and fishing beckon. Her novels Karmafornia and its sequel Superball, written under the pen name NC Weil, are available from Fool Court Press, LLC and Amazon, as well as a few small-town bookstores around the state. She also enjoys yoga, sewing, designing and building furniture, and reads widely, posting book and film reviews on her blog, AestheticPoint.blogspot.com. She plays a mean game of Scrabble.
