In 2014, Southwest Conservation Corps spent two weeks of work at Eleven Mile State Park completing a fence maintenance project. The project required that the entire 30-mile perimeter, 4-strand, barbed-wire fence line of Eleven Mile State Park be checked for breaks and repaired wherever the breaks or damage occurred.  In addition, H-braces were installed along the south side perimeter.  Several areas of fence went straight over rock outcrops, so crews had to create an effective barrier over this type of topography when needed.
