Corps are swimming in service projects this year, thanks to a contract CYCA has signed with Denver Water. Check out everything that will be accomplished in just five weeks!

  • High Line Canal: Mile High Youth Corps will remove and chip brush and trees.
  • Cheesman Reservoir: Mile High Youth Corps will remove overgrowth from trees on the trail along Cheesman Reservoir and in Cheesman Canyon, and provide trail stabilization and delineation. This project includes camping along the trail on USFS property.
  • Dillon Reservoir: Rocky Mountain Youth Corps will remove, repair and install fencing and signage around the perimeter of Dillon Reservoir.
  • Winter Park/Fraser: Rocky Mountain Youth Corps will remove brush and trees along Denver Water canals.

These projects will not only enhance Denver Water properties, participating corps members will be exposed to important environmental education opportunities – and learning and growing greatly from their experience. We look forward to seeing the fruits of their efforts!
